What the app keeps for your rabbitry

Each doe and each breeding buck has its own record with number, breed, sex and date of birth. Everything that happens to it is recorded from there and stays in its history.

  • Matings and kindlings. On the Pro plan you record the mating, the pregnancy check and the kindling with the litter weight. The expected kindling date is worked out for you, using 31 days; create a reminder for that date and the notification reaches your phone.
  • Weights. You note the animal’s weight when you take it and the app works out the daily gain between weighings. On the Pro plan it projects when the animal will reach 2.5 kg and flags on its record if it is growing at less than half the expected rate.
  • Meat in kilos. The quick log takes the kilos in a few seconds, for the whole rabbitry, one animal or one group. In Products you see today’s total and the last 7 days; monthly and 3-month totals are on the Pro plan.
  • The rabbitry’s accounts. You log feed, cages, medicines and every sale with a category and a description, and assign it to the whole rabbitry, to one animal or to one group, such as the fattening batch. Selling a registered animal books the income to that animal. Each month you see what comes in, what goes out and the trend over the last six months.
  • Reminders. The pregnancy check, putting in the nest box, weaning or cleaning the cages, each with its date, a note and a notification on your phone. They can repeat every so many days, weeks or months: when you mark one done, the app sets the next.

Animals, weights, meat, accounts, assigning them to an animal or a group, and up to 2 groups are on the free plan. The balance per animal and per group (income, expenses, balance and production over the last 30 days), breeding records, health records and weight projections are part of the Pro plan.

A doe that does not kindle shows up

With matings and kindlings recorded, you quickly see which doe keeps being mated without getting pregnant or which litters are small at weaning. Those are the first ones to check with the vet or replace. If you want to review the gestation lengths of other species, there is the gestation guide.

Record in the field, sync when you reopen it. For now, wait for the app to finish syncing before you close it. How it works today.

Common questions

How long is a doe rabbit's gestation?
About 31 days on average. On the Pro plan, when you record the mating the app works out the expected kindling date. Create a reminder a few days before and the notification reaches your phone so you put the nest box in on time.
Can I keep the kits as a group rather than one by one?
Yes. A litter or a fattening batch can be a group counted by quantity: you enter how many kits it starts with and then record births, purchases, deaths, sales and culls. Those kits do not count toward the free plan's limit of 50 animals; the group counts toward its 2 groups. Register one by one only the breeding stock you want to follow.
How do I record the meat I sell?
With the quick log you note the kilos in a few seconds and see today's total and the last 7 days; monthly and 3-month totals are on the Pro plan. The sale of a registered animal is booked as income for that animal; any other sale you assign to the whole rabbitry or to a group, such as the fattening batch.
How many rabbits can I record for free?
Up to 50 animals and 2 groups on the free plan; kits in a group counted by quantity do not count toward the 50. On the Pro plan there is no limit on animals or groups.
